Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator (Stand-up) for our Schaumburg, IL facility. This first shift long-term opportunity offers a 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule (Mon-Fri) with overtime and flexible part-time options.

Pay is $21.00 per hour. Responsibilities include loading and unloading from trucks, verifying quantities against invoices, following drawings, using stand-up forklifts, and handling receiving documentation.

Qualifications

• Candidate should be able to operate a stand-up forklift safely.
• Experience with loading/unloading materials and basic documentation.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Take care of loading and unloading of the material from the trucks
• Check that proper quantity is being given and received by comparing the quantity with that on the invoice
• Follow written instructions or assembly drawings
• Use simple equipment for moving material, for example forklifts (Stand-up)
• Handle the necessary documentation while receiving or sending materials
• Ensure that proper quantities are kept for each type of stock item
• Know the right place in the factory or warehouse floor where every item should be stored
