Job summary

Inspire Wealth is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor in Brighton/Ann Arbor, Michigan, to support advisors and build client relationships. The role focuses on meeting preparation, financial planning support, and client follow-up, with increasing responsibility over time.

You will develop skills in retirement and investment planning, Social Security, tax strategies, estate planning, and client service, aiming to grow into a Financial Advisor role providing coordinated financial guidance.

Qualifications

• Education or experience in finance, financial planning, accounting, economics, business or related field.
• Financial services or client-facing experience.
• Series 65/66 or similar licensing.
• CFP coursework or interest in pursuing the CFP designation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates may be supported to obtain necessary licenses and education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture client relationships and coordinate with advisors.
• Prepare for and participate in client meetings.
• Track and complete client follow-up and action items.
• Assist with paperwork, account openings and transfers.
• Support planning in areas such as retirement, investments and tax strategies.
• Coordinate with team to ensure coordinated financial guidance for clients.
• Help with business development—prospecting, referrals, events.
