Job description

Zinda Operating Group is a management services organization that supports law firms by handling essential business operations. The company provides finance, technology, administration, and operations services so that its clients can focus on legal work and client relationships. Law firms retain full control over their legal practice while Zinda Operating Group manages the infrastructure that enables their success.

The organization serves firms across the United States, offering scalable solutions tailored to the needs of modern legal practices. This structure creates a professional environment with exposure to diverse business challenges within the legal services industry.

About the Role

Zinda Operating Group is building a bench of future business leaders. We're recruiting a small cohort of exceptionally high-potential, early-career professionals who will rotate through marketing, People, finance, operations, projects, events, SEO, digital work, and new businesses at Zinda Law Group, PLLC. This is intentionally a broad rotational position - this isn't an entry-level support role, it's a proving ground.

One week you might work on performance marketing or SEO. Another week, recruiting, HR, finance, an event, project management, analysis, or building an AI workflow. As Zinda continues to grow, the best people on this team will receive opportunities to take on major responsibility!

We're not looking for someone to specialize narrowly. We're looking for someone who wants to figure out where they're most valuable by actually doing the work - including the parts that aren't glamorous. Our attitude, and the one we're looking for in return, is simple: give me the hardest problem and I'll figure it out.

What You'll Do
  • Rotate across functions - marketing, People/HR, finance, operations, project management, events, SEO, and digital work - as business needs dictate
  • Take on new business initiatives as Zinda creates or acquires new ventures, with a path to major responsibility for top performers
  • Own projects end-to-end, using AI tools by default to move faster and produce better work
  • Step into a Cohort Lead role on a rotating basis (every 1-2 weeks) - running the daily execution check, tracking commitments, catching dropped work, and reporting status to Allie
  • Do the unglamorous work - the tedious, low-status tasks that no one else wants to do but that the team needs done
Who You Are
  • We're hiring for horsepower more than experience. We only want people who appear exceptional.
  • 0-5 years of professional experience. Recent grads or early-career professionals (2-5 years in) coming out of demanding environments - startups, consulting, finance, or technology - who are ready for more ownership than their current role offers
  • Achievement: Something objectively difficult or unusual that you've accomplished - academic, professional, entrepreneurial, or project-based.
  • Intellectual range: Strong quantitative thinking plus excellent writing and ideas. A hard science, engineering, or math background combined with philosophy, English, literature, or another writing-heavy field is a strong positive - this isn't a required degree combination, we care about the underlying abilities.
  • Writing: You must communicate exceptionally well - this will be tested, not assumed.
  • AI: You naturally use AI to solve problems - it's your default, not an afterthought.
  • Ownership: You have examples of taking responsibility without needing someone to constantly tell you what to do.
  • Ambition: You want increasing responsibility, not a comfortable narrow job.
  • Flexibility: If you only want marketing, only finance, or only HR, this is probably the wrong role.
  • Work ethic. You're willing to do low-status, tedious, or unpleasant work when that's what's needed to finish the job - and you can point to a specific time you did.
  • Willingness to work in-office in Austin.
