Job summary

The Heights Modern Dentistry in Houston, TX is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists in delivering high-quality care. You will help prepare patients, assist during procedures, and manage imaging and infection control to ensure a smooth clinical workflow.

Ideal candidates will have the necessary state licensure/certification, an educational background such as GED and preferably an associate degree or certificate.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree or a 1-year certificate preferred.
• Certifications/licensure per applicable state (e.g. radiograph exposure, coronal polish).

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors during procedures.
• Take and develop x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by dentist.
• Educate patients on postoperative and oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
