Job summary

Management Support is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Onion Creek Luxury Apartments in Austin, TX. The role supports 10701 South IH-35, 78747, with rotating weekend coverage and a 40-hour full-time schedule.

Compensation is hourly and based on experience, with a pathway for advancement into supervisory roles within the multifamily property management company. HVAC certification and active license are preferred or can be obtained with employer support.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification or prompt to obtain
• Basic electrical, plumbing, appliance maintenance and repair
• Lift and carry 30 lbs up three flights of stairs if no elevator
• Rotating schedule for on-call emergency after-hours response
• Current driver's license with non-rated auto insurance to be verified
• Bilingual a plus
• Understand and follow written policies
• Work under direction of Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager
• Promptly and expertly attend to preventive and routine maintenance
• Prompt completion of service requests and emergency responses

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair apartment units and common areas
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules under supervision
• Coordinate with Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager
• Train or adapt to company standards and safety procedures
