Responsibilities

• Keeps the Grocery department stocked, organized and appealing to meet customer demands and maximize sales.
• Builds displays to drive incremental sales.
• Stocks and rotates merchandise to ensure freshness and correct prices.
• Greets customers, answers questions and helps resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assists with receiving, unloading, and stocking deliveries as trained.
• Maintains sanitation in the department and adherence to health and OSHA requirements.
• Cooperates with coworkers to ensure smooth department operation and continuous improvement.
• Follows safety rules including proper PPE usage and backroom organization.
