Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Head of Growth Marketing to lead the PPC and SEO functions across multifamily, B2B and technical verticals. You will oversee the PPC strategist and the SEO strategist, owning channel strategy, budgets, and client results. This is a management seat, not a senior IC role, with you setting quality standards and owning reporting.

You will handle client-facing escalations, guide hiring for the department, and ensure the team delivers credible outcomes as accounts scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across paid media and SEO.
• Own channel strategy across PPC and SEO and oversee strategists.
• Experience owning client-facing relationships and delivering results.
• Agency experience with multi-account management.

Responsibilities

• Own the PPC and SEO strategies and budget allocation as accounts scale.
• Define quality standards, audits, reporting and ensure honesty in results.
• Lead and mentor the PPC and SEO strategists, conducting reviews and development.
• Handle client escalations and present performance insights to clients.
• Contribute to sales messaging with credible delivery capabilities.
