This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a 1st shift (Mon-Thu) from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM and travel/on-call availability. The successful candidate will perform PDIs on Hydra platforms, inspect components with precision tools, review MCSs for accuracy, investigate quality concerns, and coordinate DMRs, while

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in quality control.
• Experience level: Experienced.
• High School diploma.
• Travel and on-call availability required.

Responsibilities

• Performing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on Hydra Platforms before shipment to customers.
• Inspecting purchased and manufactured components with precision measuring tools.
• Reviewing Manufacturing Certification Sheets (MCS) for accuracy and completeness.
• Investigating quality concerns and identifying root causes.
• Working with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve products and processes.
• Processing Defective Material Reports (DMRs) and coordinating supplier returns.
• Tracking non-conforming materials and supporting corrective actions.
• Presenting quality updates during weekly manufacturing meetings.
• Assisting with prototype testing and new product development.
• Maintaining quality documentation using Global Shop and Microsoft Office.
• Supporting troubleshooting, product audits, and continuous improvement projects.
• Assisting with maintaining the Engineering Lab and inspection equipment.
