Job summary

Avint is seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to drive growth on the Growth team. You will lead the design and delivery of compliant, scalable cybersecurity solutions for federal clients, blending deep technical expertise with government procurement insight.

You will own pre‑sales, proposal development, and work with engineering, compliance, and program management to produce compelling solutions. Knowledge of NIST RMF, FISMA, CMMC and Zero Trust is essential, and you must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 5–10 years in cybersecurity architecture, engineering, or related roles.
• Experience supporting government cybersecurity initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53, RMF, FISMA and Zero Trust.
• Hands-on in proposal development, technical writing and client presentations.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH or cloud security certs are valued.
• U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of cybersecurity solutions in response to opportunities.
• Design and architect scalable, secure, compliant solutions for federal clients.
• Ensure solutions are innovative, cost-effective and aligned with Avint goals.
• Develop architectures aligning with federal standards and mission needs.
• Provide technical leadership across all solution development phases.
• Monitor regulations (CMMC, C-SCRM, SSDF) impacting contracting opportunities.
• Support pre-sales activities, including technical demos and customer meetings.
• Build Avint’s pipeline and engage government stakeholders.
• Contribute to proposal writing and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with engineering, compliance and program management.
• Stay current with cybersecurity technologies and federal directives.
