Job summary

Avint is seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to join the Growth team. You will lead design and delivery of cutting-edge cybersecurity architectures for federal opportunities, aligning with NIST RMF, Zero Trust, and DoD/DHS requirements.

Expect a highly visible role combining technical leadership with pre‑sales and proposal work. This role involves engaging with government stakeholders, shaping technical approaches, and helping bring AREA to market.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience).
5–10 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, engineering, or related roles.
Strong understanding of NIST 800-53, RMF, FISMA, and Zero Trust principles.
Hands-on experience with proposal development, technical writing, and client presentations.
CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS/Azure Security certs highly desired.

Responsibilities

Lead development of comprehensive cybersecurity solutions in response to RFPs/RFIs.
Design and architect scalable, secure, and compliant solutions for federal requirements.
Provide technical leadership across all phases of solution development.
Stay aware of regulations (CMMC, C‑SCRM, SSDF) impacting contracts.
