Job summary

joinaegvision is seeking a Cash Reconciliation Accountant reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager. This role focuses on cash reconciliation, bank statement data extraction, and weekly cash activity reporting within a high-volume environment following U.S. GAAP.

The successful candidate will prepare monthly cash-related journal entries, support month-end close, and collaborate with practice managers to resolve discrepancies. Growth opportunities exist as the company expands.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting (B.S. or equivalent).
• Experience: minimum of 2 years progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills required; ability to handle large data sets.
• Strong organizational, time management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cash deposit transactions are recorded accurately per U.S. GAAP.
• Extract data from bank statements and organize into standardized reports.
• Monitor depository accounts and compile weekly cash activity reports.
• Reconcile cash and credit card deposits and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly cash-related journal entries and perform month-end close per U.S. GAAP.
• Identify process improvements and collaborate with other departments on reconciling items.
