Job summary

Pima Heart and Vascular in Tucson, AZ, seeks a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our established, physician-led group offering comprehensive cardiovascular care.

The role involves consultative care in office and hospital, interpreting echocardiograms, stress tests, nuclear studies, and performing EKGs. Collaboration with cardiology peers, participation in call rotation, and maintaining EHR documentation. Opportunity for research involvement within the practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified/board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Fellowship trained in Cardiology.
• Current Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning.
• Expertise in advanced cardiac imaging (e.g., Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CT) preferred.
• J1 visa candidates are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative cardiology care in the office and hospital settings.
• Interpret non-invasive cardiac studies including echocardiograms, stress testing, and nuclear studies.
• Perform and interpret EKGs, Holter monitors, and event monitors.
• Collaborate with other cardiologists and medical professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in call rotation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Engage in quality improvement and practice development initiatives.
