Goodwill Industries of Akron is seeking an Assistant Store Manager. You will support the Store Manager across interviewing, scheduling, training, and performance reviews while leading staff in donations, processing and sales.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory and training experience in customer service within retail or food service.
• Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to operate cash register, process transactions and perform stock duties.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Store Manager in interviewing, scheduling and performance reviews.
• Direct, supervise, and train staff in donations, processing and sales tasks.
• Operate cash register and POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Open and close store, handle banking tasks, and reconcile daily cash.
• Prepare reports (donations, deposits, statements) and conduct monthly audits.
