Job summary

Google is seeking a Business Data Scientist for Subscriptions and Customer Growth Marketing in Mountain View/San Francisco. You will analyze large data sets, design experiments, and communicate insights to executives to influence strategy and implementation.

You will work with product engineering and insights teams to deepen consumer relationships and grow subscription usage, balancing data-driven decisions with practical business impact.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems; coding in Python, R, SQL; querying databases or statistical analysis.
• Experience building and deploying ML models for recommendations or customer segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Work with large, complex data sets applying advanced analytical methods from problem formulation to presentations.
• Design and analyze controlled experiments or causal inference studies to examine incremental impact of marketing programs.
• Interact cross-functionally to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
