Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is seeking a Sales Associate Intern to gain hands-on experience on a variety of Sales and Account Management projects. You will work side by side with Account and Sales Executive professionals to help retain, grow and strategize for our customer base.

In this role, you will assist Account Executives with retention activities, support the new sales process, and help identify and implement growth strategies.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in business administration, or related field.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support a wide variety of projects: assist Account Executives with retention of BCBSNE customer base and support Sales Executives in the new sale process.
• Identify and execute on implementation of growth strategies; collaborate with peers across BCBSNE to deliver value-added services to customers and members.
• Help formulate and implement business plans and annual reviews for customers and broker partners; comfortable with client-facing meetings and delivering presentations to internal and external partners.
