Job summary

Novant Health Heart & Vascular Institute in the Greater Winston Salem region seeks a BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join the Triad region team and contribute to the growth of the heart failure program at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.

The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in heart failure with expertise in mechanical circulatory support and experience across care transitions. We offer a comprehensive package including relocation allowance and CME support.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in heart failure including mechanical circulatory support preferred.
• Completion of an accredited residency program required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical school required.
• Board certification or eligibility in cardiology is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a team-based environment.
• Contribute to growth and development of the heart failure program at the center.
• Collaborate with cardiology and surgical teams across transitions of care.

What We Offer

Novant Health Heart & Vascular Institute in the Greater Winston Salem region of North Carolina is a large multispecialty Institute providing integrated inpatient and outpatient service line management of the cardiology and surgical cardiovascular patient. Due to system growth and expansion, we are recruiting for a BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist for our Triad region. The selected candidate will contribute to the continued growth and development our heart failure program at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.

The Position Will Require High Level Skills Including

• clinical consultative cardiology
• proficiency in the management of the entire spectrum of heart failure
• Fellowship training in heart failure including mechanical circulatory support and recent exposure to contemporary management of the heart failure patient through all care transitions is preferred.

Education

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
• Completion of an accredited residency program required
• For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current MD license in appropriate state
• Board certification or eligibility
• Current DEA license required
