Job summary

InsidEntity is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead complex audits, manage an allocated business audit portfolio, and engage with key stakeholders. The position allows for flexible location with a preference for Charlotte, North Carolina, or other regional hubs.

The ideal candidate will oversee governance and compliance consulting activities and contribute to continuous improvement projects. Strong leadership and relationship management skills are essential for this role.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Complex Audits: Manage and execute comprehensive audits, both onsite and remotely, ensuring thorough planning, discovery, and reporting.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee an allocated portion of the business audit portfolio, including bi-annual and ongoing risk assessments.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with executive/senior management, external auditors, and other key stakeholders.
• Special Projects: Lead governance, risk, and compliance consulting activities, business process improvements, and change management initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of audit policies, guidelines, and quality assurance measures.
• Beyond the Audit: Participate in and lead improvement projects, ensuring alignment with GIA’s transformation strategy and contributing to our in-house intelligence tool.

Location

They have significant presence in the Americas with the Regional office based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Location is flexible but preference for the following HUBs which facilitate mobility across the Region:
