Job summary

Google LLC in the United States is seeking a Group Product Manager for YouTube Growth Platform. You will set the multi-year vision, product strategy, and policy framework for a platform that delivers billions of personalized, contextual in-app messages daily and drives paid subscription growth.

You will lead a team of Product Managers, collaborate across Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Marketing, and partner with 40+ teams to balance business value with viewer experience while scaling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.
• Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to streamline individual, business or development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define the multi-year product goal and annual strategy for the growth platform across ML ranking, inventory optimization, omnichannel UI formats, self-service tooling, and measurement.
• Drive paid ecosystem and watchtime growth by partnering with cross-functional teams to advance ML ranking systems, optimizing lifetime value, personalization, and retargeting.
• Scale platform velocity and innovation by leading the strategy for self-service algorithmic campaigns and generating creative assets using Generative AI.
• Govern promotion policy by aligning stakeholders on principled guidelines, performance thresholds, and user sentiment guardrails that maximize business value while protecting the viewer experience.
• Lead, manage, and coach a team of Product Managers while cultivating a collaborative, high-trust environment with cross-functional partners.
