Job summary

Google in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Group Product Manager for Android Next-Gen Platform and Longevity. You will guide projects from conception to launch, bridging engineering and business teams to deliver longevity-focused OS features across billions of devices.

You will partner with silicon vendors, Linux developers, and internal teams to craft long-term roadmaps that enable AI workloads, multi-device interoperability, and durable device performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of product management or related technical experience.
• 5 years of end-to-end product launch experience.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
• Experience working in consumer electronics.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the multi-year product vision and strategy for Android platform longevity.
• Partner with leading silicon vendors and internal teams to deliver OS updates across billions of devices.
• Deliver strategy to re-architect key components to promote a consistent developer interface and device longevity.
• Partner with silicon vendors and Linux developers to create long-term technology roadmaps for AI workloads and interoperability.
• Drive a large cross-functional team to define and execute the product roadmap amid architectural tradeoffs.
