Job summary

Google in Mountain View is seeking a Product Manager to guide Android Next-Gen from conception to launch, connecting technical and business teams and breaking down complex problems for actionable product development. You will own a multi-year roadmap, partner with silicon vendors and the Linux community to ensure longevity and AI readiness, and deliver a consistent developer interface across devices.

Individual pay is determined by skills and education; US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of product management or related technical experience.
5 years taking technical products from ideation to launch.
Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
Experience working on consumer electronics.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the multi-year product vision and strategy for Android platform longevity.
Partner with silicon vendors and internal teams to deliver accelerated OS updates across devices.
Propose rearchitecture plans to promote a consistent developer experience and device longevity.
Collaborate with silicon vendors and Linux developers on long-term roadmaps for AI workloads.
Lead a large cross-functional team to execute the product roadmap, balancing tradeoffs.
