McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, Inc. is looking for a Group Lead in Riceville, Iowa. The ideal candidate will motivate and lead team members while ensuring operational efficiency and quality standards. Responsibilities include monitoring workflow, employee supervision, and product inspections.
The position requires at least a high school diploma and two years of manufacturing experience. Candidates should also possess strong leadership and communication skills, and be adept with Microsoft Office tools. A safe and clean working environment must be maintained.
The Group Lead is responsible for motivating, leading, and counseling team members in the department with guidance from the Production Supervisor. The Group Lead must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the department to effectively lead the team. This position is also responsible for making judgments regarding scheduling, work priorities, and material availability; handling employee concerns; applying rational systems to solve practical problems; dealing with a variety of concrete variables with only limited standardization; and interpreting a variety of written, oral, diagrammatic, and/or schedule instructions. The Group Lead will act in a supervisory capacity in the absence of the Production Supervisor but will elevate any administrative actions to the next higher level of leadership.
Pay Range: $25 - $42.64
