What your day might look like:

  • Drive supplier performance by monitoring quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness metrics, holding vendors accountable through scorecards, performance reviews, and corrective action plans.
  • Analyze supplier quality data, incoming inspection results, non‑conformances, and delivery trends to identify risks, drive root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, inventory management, and resource planning activities to ensure production schedules are met and supply chain disruptions are minimized.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while collaborating with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teams to resolve issues and improve operational performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example in a manufacturing, supply chain, quality, or materials environment by coordinating daily activities, providing guidance to team members, and helping drive safety, quality, and delivery objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate supplier performance, inspection results, material shortages, and operational data to identify issues and support effective decision‑making
  • Working knowledge of quality inspection processes, incoming material verification, inventory control, supplier corrective actions, and ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross‑functional teams while maintaining a high level of accountability, ownership, and customer focus.
