Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Group Lead, Account Management to build and grow long-term business partnerships across brands and their partners. You will lead a team of managers and ICs, collaborate with cross-functional leadership, and drive accountability using input metrics.

The role involves direct engagement with high-value clients at the Director/VP/C-Level level. You will advocate for product enhancements based on client needs to grow revenue and create new opportunities, while scaling

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in business, communications, marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years experience analyzing data to drive campaign performance.
  • Experience with digital media, ad-tech, programmatic RTB.
  • 2+ years of management of advertising professionals.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Group Lead, Account Management to join Snap Inc! You will work in a fun, fast-paced, and fluid environment. You will need to bring a creative mindset, detail-oriented focus, and strategic acumen in your approach to building and growing long term business partnerships across brands and their partners.

What you’ll do:
  • Support the revenue growth of your verticals at Snap
  • Collaborate with cross functional leadership on strategic initiatives to ensure advertiser health and depth across key lines of business.
  • Lead an account management team consisting of managers and individual contributors
  • Drive team accountability to organizational goals through effective implementation of input metrics
  • Partner with sales leadership to define headcount strategy; implement to ensure accounts and teams are resourced to maximize positive impact to the business and revenue goals
  • Serve as an executive presence to high-value customer conversations focused on deep product or performance topics, including being a touchpoint as needed for our strategic clients at the Director, VP, or C-Level.
  • Act as a thought leader on Snap’s product through an understanding of our client’s perspective; proactively advocate for product enhancements that will grow revenue or create new opportunities.
  • Highlight and scale best in class work to drive consistency, elevate team’s depth of knowledge, and functional expertise
  • Identify opportunities to create new expertise or build functional skill sets; partner with Sales Enablement to influence and implement training programs at scale
  • Foster a culture that values and upholds Snap’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise, with deep expertise in performance marketing
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Ability to lead multiple projects with strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify key opportunities and transform them into action
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adaptable to change
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in business, communications, marketing, or another related area of study or equivalent years of experience
  • 12+ years proven experience taking complex data and evaluating success metrics to create data stories that drive campaign performance or
  • 12+ years working with clients to understand the brand strategy, product attributes, main competitors, and major issues facing their business while performing in-depth data analysis that deliver both short and long term strategies
  • Experience in the digital media industry with a focus on performance and brand marketing, ad-tech, programmatic in real-time bidding marketplaces, or a related field
  • 2+ years of management experience of advertising professionals

  • A passion for Snapchat as a user and knowledge of our ad products

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $229,000-$343,000 annually.

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $218,000-$326,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $195,000-$292,000 annually.

This position is eligible to participate in a sales incentive program. This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
