• Serve as pro-active employee support to team members, ensuring PPE, tooling, and work instructions
• Ensure all 6S initiatives are understood and completed by all Finishing Employees
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as required by supervision
• Operate equipment and complete normal duties when not leading (lead duties ≤ 20%)
• Occasional travel required for training

Position Summary: The Group Lead, in addition to performing normal duties in their job classifications, takes a leadership role guiding and directing work to a team of an assigned work area. Daily and weekly instruction and priorities are established and communicated by direct supervisor.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serve as pro-active employee support to team members. This includes but is not limited to ensuring all employees in Finishing have the proper PPE, tooling, and work instructions
• Ensure all 6S initiatives are understood and completed by all Finishing Employees
• Ensure all personnel adhere to safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties of greater or lesser complexity as required by the position or assigned by supervision
• Operate equipment and complete normal job duties when not engaged in Lead activities. (Lead duties should not consume more than 20% of time)
• Occasional travel required for training
