Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Group Home Worker for 3rd shift, part-time, offering $17.50 per hour. This role supports individuals in daily living activities within a group home setting and requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid NC Driver's License.

You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, assist with self-care, meals, medication administration, and community activities, while following safety procedures and behavior plans. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor clients with self-care tasks including dressing, bathing and toileting.
• Assist and monitor clients during meals to promote family-style dining.
• Support clients with housekeeping tasks such as clothing care, cleaning and yard work.
• Assist clients in meal preparation and nutritional supplementation.
• Administer prescribed medications without error under supervision.
• Support clients in following prescribed diet orders and using adaptive equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor clients while dressing, bathing, toileting, and in all other aspects of self-care.
• Assist and monitor clients during meals to ensure utilization of family style dining.
• Assist and monitor clients in all aspects of housekeeping responsibilities (Clothing care, house cleaning, and yard care).
• Assist and monitor clients in preparing meals and nutritional supplements.
• Assist and monitor clients in the administration of prescribed medication without error.
• Assist and monitor clients in the implementation of prescribed diet orders and utilization of adaptive equipment
• Implement and follow all established behavior programs, data collection, and established safety procedures.
• Assist and monitor clients in appropriate active treatment including training objective plans, recording data, and implementing service goals.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and to communicate appropriate clients information as directed by supervisory staff.
• Transport and monitor clients on Company vehicles as directed.
• Assist and monitor clients during community outings.
• Assist and monitor clients during participation at school and day program activities.
• Other tasks as assigned by managers
