Job summary

Milestone Industries is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to oversee health care for individuals in group homes in Illinois. You will administer medications, monitor health status, and coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure quality care.

The role requires Illinois licensure, the ability to intervene in crises, and experience with developmental disabilities. You will participate in care planning, home visits, and routine health screenings.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Illinois as LPN or RN.
• Minimum one year experience with persons with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to intervene in health or behavior crises.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and maintains MAR records.
• Collects, stores and relays health information to group homes.
• Performs first aid/triage and monitors vital signs and health status.
• Coordinates with physicians, RN trainer, and pharmacists regarding orders.
• Participates in IDT meetings and develops semi-annual assessments.
