Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness is seeking Fitness Coaches to lead our coach-inspired, science-backed, and technology-tracked workouts in a supportive studio setting.

You will motivate members, ensure proper form, and apply heart-rate based training principles while fostering a positive, energetic group atmosphere. This role emphasizes connection, accountability, and helping clients reach personal fitness goals.

Qualifications

• No degree is required; a national fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or NCCA accredited equivalent) or ability to obtain one.
• Must be AED/CPR certified.
• We’re looking for individuals who can genuinely connect with and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts
• Help members set and achieve goals
• Ensure members use correct form and receive corrections when needed
• Understand the science behind heart-rate focused training programs and related workouts
• Demonstrate proper use of all equipment used in workouts
• Keep a clean and organized fitness space for members and coworkers
• Engage with memberships and build meaningful relationships

Position Overview

OTF is looking for Fitness Coaches to lead our coach-inspired, science-backed, and technology-tracked workouts.

Day In The Life of a Fitness Coach

• Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts
• Help members set and achieve goals
• Make sure members are using correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t
• Understand the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
• Know how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
• Keep a clean and organized fitness space for members and coworkers
• Engage with memberships and build meaningful relationships
