Job summary

Mountainside Fitness, LLC is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead diverse classes and uphold our club standards daily.

You will demonstrate safe form, arrive 10 minutes early, wear the MPower uniform, and use the Mountainside App to communicate reminders and needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate safe exercise form and provide clear verbal/visual cues with modifications as needed.
• Arrive 10 minutes prior to each class.
• Wear the designated MPower uniform top.
• Begin and end classes on schedule and on time.
• Welcome new Members, explain class format, outline expectations, and assist with equipment setup.
• Utilize the Mountainside App to communicate reminders and needs to members.
• Make club announcements when appropriate.
• Maintain professionalism and positive conduct at all times.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group fitness classes per approved formats and descriptions.
• Prioritize member experience and foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere.
• Educate Members on proper exercise techniques and share current fitness knowledge.
• Facilitate communication between Members and club management as needed.
• Support class coverage and substitute classes when available.
• Participate in club events and collaborate with fellow Instructors.
