Job summary

Planet Fitness - NJ/MA One World Fitness is seeking a Fitness Instructor to run the PE@PF program and guide members toward their fitness goals. You will create straightforward workout plans and demonstrate proper use of equipment to new members.

You will also consult with members on history and goals, maintain class schedules, and assist at the front desk with sign-ups, tours, and member inquiries while helping keep the club clean and welcoming.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification is required.
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate is required.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Lead and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program and schedule.
• Consult with members on fitness history, medical conditions, and goals; teach proper equipment use.
• Create bi-weekly workout updates with diverse exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist at the front desk: answer phones, check members in, sign up new members, give tours.
• Respond to member questions promptly and escalate to management when needed.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the club.
