Job summary

NYSC - Huntington is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to promote our brand and deliver engaging, safe group classes. You will motivate members, manage class flow, and uphold studio standards while ensuring a positive member experience.

Responsibilities include delivering entertaining classes, maintaining equipment, and driving member engagement through timely sessions and promotions. CPR/AED certification is required; ability to lift up to 20 pounds is needed.

Qualifications

• Motivate others to lead a healthy lifestyle; strong public speaking and patience.
• Proficient use of POS and membership/timekeeping systems.
• Approved certification for any class being taught (Group Exercise).
• AED/CPR certification (child & adult).
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and move equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promote the club and brand, guiding members to group exercise experiences.
• Deliver motivating and entertaining group exercise classes.
• Ensure classes start on time and maintain safety and studio standards.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness of the studio; report repairs as needed.
• Encourage class registration and promote club initiatives.
