Job summary

Quincy Kroc Center is seeking a dynamic Group Fitness Instructor to lead aquatic classes, with sessions Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8am. Starting pay is $17.00/hour, based on certifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Certified Group Fitness Instructor or relevant fitness certification (ACE, NASM, AFAA)
• Proven experience leading group fitness classes in various formats
• Knowledge and experience with aquatic fitness programs
• Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and proper techniques
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to different fitness levels and modify exercises
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional fitness experiences
• Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve wellness goals

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality group fitness classes for a range of fitness levels (cardio, strength, HIIT, yoga, dance, aqua fit)
• Create safe, challenging, and enjoyable workout routines
• Provide clear, concise instructions with proper form and technique
• Motivate and support participants to reach goals
• Maintain a clean, organized studio before, during, and after classes
• Stay updated on fitness trends to enhance class offerings
• Monitor participant safety and offer modifications as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all participants

The Quincy Kroc Center is looking for dynamic and energetic Group Fitness Instructors to lead aquatic group fitness classes that challenge, motivate, and transform lives. Rate of Pay:Starting at $17.00/hour. Pay rate based on certifications and experience.

Schedule:Starting October 18th. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8am-8:45am.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality group fitness classes that cater to a variety of fitness levels and interests, including but not limited to cardio, strength training, HIIT, yoga, dance, and aqua fit.
• Create and implement effective workout routines that are safe, challenging, and enjoyable for participants.
• Provide clear and concise instructions to participants, ensuring proper form and technique.
• Motivate and inspire participants to reach their fitness goals by offering guidance, support, and encouragement.
• Maintain a clean and organized fitness studio environment before, during, and after classes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and industry developments to continually enhance class offerings.
• Ensure the safety of participants by closely monitoring their movements and providing modifications or alternatives when necessary.
• Establish a positive and inclusive atmosphere where all participants feel welcome and supported.

Aquatics Classes

Monday and Wednesday at 8am

Aqua Fit: A medium-intensity combination of all our aqua fitness classes. It’s a great mix of moves for a workout that combines cardio, toning, flexibility and strength training. Various training equipment is provided and will vary based on class format and instructor.

Friday at 8am

Aqua Blast: Join an instructor on a resistance walk or jog through our Current River. A fun way to increase mobility, balance, strength and cardio endurance. Perfect for those with limited mobility.

What are We Looking For?
