LIVunLtd is seeking experienced Group Fitness Instructors to join our growing team in Washington, DC. You will motivate participants and lead scheduled classes across disciplines such as Yoga, Pilates, Barre, HIIT, and Strength.

You must be available to teach weekend mornings and weekday mornings/evenings, with CPR/AED certification and a professional, energetic presence. Expect a friendly, professional working environment and strong safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching group fitness classes is required.
• Must hold CPR and AED certifications.
• Ability to train in multiple disciplines (Yoga, Pilates, Barre, HIIT, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Prepare warm‑ups, class content, stretches and cool down.
• Reliably teach scheduled classes on time.
• Engage participants and provide variety in group classes.
• Instruct proper form and offer safe alternatives.
• Stay current with fitness trends and client needs.
• Interact with members before/after classes and answer questions.
• Prepare music and equipment for each class.
• Maintain studio cleanliness and organization.
• Follow LIVunLtd policies and procedures.
• Report safety issues to the manager.

POSITION OVERVIEW

LIVunLtd is currently seeking experienced, energetic and exceptional Group Fitness Instructors to join our growing team!As a Group Fitness Instructors you will be expected to motivate and have a blast, all while teaching their scheduled group fitness classes. Whether it be on a weekly or daily basis, Group Fitness Instructors are expected to provide an encouraging voice and energetic personality when leading all exercise activities.We are searching for the best instructors who are expert in multiple disciplines such as: Yoga, Pilates, Barre, Sculpt, Dance Cardio, Bodyweight Training, HIIT, Strength, Core Conditioning and Stretch + Recovery.

Group Fitness Instructors must be able to teach at least one weekend morning between 8am - 12pm, and must be available to teach weekdays between 7-9am and 5-7pm.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and provide adequate warm-up, class content, stretching and cool down.
• Reliability to teach scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time.
• Develop positive relationships with class participants by teaching a variety of challenging and entertaining group fitness classes.
• Educate class participants on correct form and alternate moves during the fitness routine; assist with adjustments as needed.
• Stay current with fitness trends and adjust to the needs and wants of each residential building.
• Attentively listen to members, answer questions, and engage in conversation before and after classes.
• Prepare current music and equipment for each class.
• Clean and organize the studio as needed, before / after each group fitness class.
• Set a positive tone and appropriate level of energy for class type.
• Adhere and adapt to all current and new LIVunLtd policies, procedures and initiatives.
• Report any unsafe conditions or situations that require attention to your manager.
• Wear corporate / building approved uniforms for each specific LIVunLtd location where you are working.
• Perform other additional duties and responsibilities specific to the location / building and upon the request of your manager.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Ideal candidates must have experience in teaching group fitness classes andhave an active CPR, AED and relevant fitness certifications.
• Self starters will excel in our fast paced work environment.
• Enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry.
• Ability to train in multiple specializations is preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be available to teach classes indoor, outdoor, and virtually.

COMPENSATION

The Group Fitness Instructor position with LIVunLtd pays minimum wage aligned with stage regulationsfor corporate education and development initiatives. Rates are subject to change based upon work location.
