The Joyce D & Andrew J Mandell Greater Hartford Jewish Community Center is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead dynamic classes on land and in water, accommodating participants of all fitness levels.

You will design workouts, maintain safety standards, and create engaging, challenging sessions that motivate attendees. CPR/AED is required; additional First Aid or water certification is a plus.

This role offers an active, community-focused environment at our Hartford facility.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and AED required; First Aid a plus.
• National Group Exercise, Les Mills, or Water Certification will be considered.

The Group Fitness Instructor (Land and/or water) is responsible for leading and instructing dynamic group fitness classes both on land and in the water. This versatile role involves designing and delivering classes that provide a workout for participants of all fitness levels, focusing on strength, cardio, flexibility, and endurance. Whether on land or in the pool, the instructor ensures that each class is engaging, challenging, and safe, creating a motivating environment for all participants.Education: Individuals with equivalent work experience and appropriate training may be considered.Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.Licensure: CPR, AED required, First Aid a plus; National Group Exercise, Les Mills, or Water Certification or a Certifications of an equitable nature will be considered.
