Job summary

Fit Fusion, LLC in Tulsa, OK seeks a Group Fitness Instructor to deliver high-quality, safe group fitness classes in a fast-paced gym environment. You will lead diverse formats and energize members across classes.

The role requires a nationally accredited certification and CPR/AED certification, with the ability to engage members and contribute to a positive fitness community. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching group fitness to members of all levels.
• Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification preferred (AFAA/ACE/NASM).
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to create high-energy class environments and communicate effectively with members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective instruction during all classes.
• Help members achieve goals and offer diverse class formats.
• Respond with care to member issues related to group fitness classes.
• Accurately track class attendance numbers.
• Participate in weekly emails and monthly Zoom meetings.
• Attend quarterly staff meetings for onsite training and new class rollouts.
• Engage with instructor portal and social media for updates and promotions.

Group Fitness Instructor | Fit Fusion

Overview

The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for delivering a high quality, safe and effective class experience to the member base. Primarily responsible for conducting Crunch group fitness classes in accordance with brand standards, the instructor engages with the member base in a variety of ways to build the culture, community and connection at Crunch while providing expert class instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective instruction during all classes.
• Help members achieve their goals and experience a variety of class types and formats.
• Respond with care to any member issues concerning group fitness classes.
• Assist with accurately tracking class attendance numbers.
• Participate and be engaged with weekly emails, monthly ZOOMs.
• Attend the quarterly staff meeting for onsite training and new quarter class roll out.
• Engagement with the instructor portal and social media for any updates and brand promotions.

Requirements

• Experience teaching classes for members of all levels.
• Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification required (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred)
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Ability to provide a high energy class environment.
• Effective communication skills and customer service orientation

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift 45 lbs. on occasion.
• Needs to be able to stand, bend and squat with frequency.
• Able to climb and hang decorations when needed.

Reporting Structure

• Reports directly to the Group Fitness Coordinator.
• Works in conjunction with gym level team.
