Job summary

US Fitness in Lawrenceville, GA seeks a dynamic Group Fitness Instructor to lead energetic classes, partner with the Group Fitness Director, and deliver the Ultimate Fitness Experience.

You will coach members toward goals, create an inclusive vibe, promote programs, track attendance, maintain studio safety, and stay current with certifications while supporting the schedule. This is a full-time on-site role requiring early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Group Fitness certification is required.
• CPR/AED certification must be current.
• Specialty certification if your format requires it.
• Prior group teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, energetic group classes that meet member expectations.
• Coach members toward goals and maintain an inclusive class vibe.
• Greet members, build relationships, and serve as brand ambassador.
• Promote club programs and upcoming events.
• Track attendance and report class stats; follow payroll procedures.
• Keep studios clean and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Stay current with certifications and attend required trainings.
• Support the schedule and cover as needed.

As a Group Fitness Instructor, you'll partner with our Group Fitness Director and team to deliver the Ultimate Fitness Experience-building community, boosting confidence, and turning great workouts into unforgettable member moments.

What you'll do:

• Lead safe, effective, and seriously fun group classes that exceed member expectations.
• Create a positive, inclusive class vibe and coach members toward their goals.
• Greet members before class, high-five after, and build relationships that keep them inspired.
• Promote club programs (PT, Mind&Body, Aquatics, Kids) and upcoming events.
• Track attendance/schedule in MotionVibe, follow payroll procedures, and keep simple class stats.
• Keep studios spotless: reset equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Stay current: maintain certifications and attend required team meetings/trainings.
• Support the schedule: follow sub policies and help cover as needed.
• Be flexible-early mornings, evenings, and weekends happen here!
