Job summary

Retro Fitness LLC is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging group classes, ensuring safety and effective workouts for our members in a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes delivering scheduled sessions on time, warm-ups and cool-downs, and maintaining a positive class atmosphere while promoting fitness goals and proper technique.

Qualifications

• Must maintain valid CPR Certification.
• Nationally accredited aerobic certification preferred (AFAA, ACE or NASM).
• Ability to motivate members to participate in Group X Fitness classes.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Teaching scheduled classes, beginning & ending on time.
• Providing warm-up, class content, stretching & cool down; demonstrate proper technique.
• Preparation of appropriate equipment and music for each class.
• Maintaining a positive experience for members and class participants.
• Assisting facility management in promotions and profit centers.
• Continued maintenance/building of class participation & offerings.

The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for providing group fitness instruction while monitoring and educating members on fitness and safety in an enjoyable and engaging atmosphere.
