Job summary

A leading fitness franchise in Reston is seeking an OTF Fitness Coach to inspire and lead clients during heart-rate interval workouts. The role demands excellent communication and the ability to manage diverse client needs in a motivating environment. Applicants should have a fitness certification, preferably hold a Bachelor's degree in an exercise-related field, and have at least one year of experience in the fitness industry. Qualifications

• Must hold a fitness certification from ACSM, ACE, NASM, NCSA, AFAA, or NFPT.
• Intermediate knowledge of exercise physiology and body mechanics required.
• Must be able to multi-task and stay organized in a group setting.
• Desire to train individuals of all fitness levels is essential.
• 1+ years experience in fitness teaching or personal training is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead workouts by demonstrating exercises and ensuring safety.
• Motivate clients and help them set and achieve fitness goals.
• Create a positive class atmosphere by managing dynamics.
• Correct improper form and monitor participant movements.

Job description

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
