Job summary

Alpas Wellness Centers in La Plata, Maryland, is hiring a full-time behavioral health group facilitator to lead therapeutic groups and support residents on their recovery journey. Alpas Wellness - La Plata is a fully licensed and accredited residential treatment center located in La Plata, Maryland, dedicated to transforming behavioral healthcare through a personalized, whole-person approach. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that groups are delivered professionally and effectively to meet desired learning objectives
• Engage with the recovery community in a culturally competent way, in and outside the group setting
• Complete group notes and all other paperwork as assigned
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• CAC-AD, CSC-AD, AD-TRAINEE, IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND
• Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
• Must have strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations
• Understands need for, and maintains, appropriate confidentiality at all times when interacting with patients, residents, families, visitors, referral sources and all other contacts.

Schedule:

11am - 7pm with two shifts available: Tuesday through Saturday

Salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000, depending on experience
