Job summary

Club4 Fitness in Prattville, AL seeks a part-time Group Exercise Manager to schedule live and virtual programs across club locations. You will oversee payroll aspects, and ensure instructors are certified in at least one Les Mills format, guiding certification and launches with member engagement.

The role requires a proactive, customer-focused leader with experience supervising group fitness, CPR/First Aid, and a dedicated work ethic to maintain high standards and class quality.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience leading group fitness programming as an instructor.
• Les Mills certification in at least one area of group fitness.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in group fitness is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule live and virtual group exercise programming in assigned Club locations.
• Payroll, knowledge of all Les Mills programs; certified and experienced in teaching at least one Les Mills format.
• Assist in guiding instructors through certification process and class launches; promote launches via social media and flyers.
• Conduct yearly evaluations for instructors; coordinate launches; create monthly schedules; monitor cleanliness and equipment usage.
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior; sign non-compete if required.

Position Type: Part Time

Reports to: Regional Group Exercise Manager or Director of Small Group Training & Group Exercise

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Scheduling live and virtual group exercise programming in assigned Club locations.
• Payroll, knowledge of all Les Mills programs; certified and experienced in teaching at least one Les Mills format.
• The ability/knowledge to guide an instructor through the certification process, class and launch promotion (social media, flyers, & interaction with the members).
• Conduct yearly evaluations for instructors; attend/participate in launches; coordinate and attend launch practices; create monthly schedule; maintain/monitor fitness room cleanliness; know/facility instructor guide/policy procedures; monitor absentees and no drama rule; working knowledge of all group X equipment (including stereo, microphone, virtual).
• Positive attitude and CLUB4 Fitness pride; no negative (or questionable) social media posts or pictures in a CLUB4 Fitness facility.
• No inappropriate attire or verbiage; must sign non-complete contract.

Must work specifically designated hours weekly/monthly in the Club facility that does not include teaching classes. Work times must vary throughout the day.

2) Minimum certifications/education/experience level:

• At least (2) years of previous experience leading specific group fitness programming as instructor
• Previous supervisory or management experience within a group fitness environment is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
• Les Mills Certified in at least one area of group fitness programming provided in assigned Clubs
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
