Job summary

LIVunLtd is seeking a dynamic Group Fitness Instructor to join our team at Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics in Huntersville, NC. Classes occur daily in mornings and evenings, with a focus on delivering exceptional client services and energizing group sessions.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of HIIT and group fitness teaching, current CPR/AED certification, and relevant national certifications. Join a fun, professional team and help members stay active and motivated.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead energizing, safe group classes as directed by the director/coordinator
• Maintain knowledge of wellness trends to support members
• Ensure safety of members and modify techniques as needed
• Build authentic relationships with members
• Keep accurate class attendance records
• Prepare facility, equipment and environment for each class

Job description

We are currently seeking individuals experienced in teaching HIT classes, and would be available in the evenings.

LIVunLtd is seeking a highly motivating and dynamic Group Fitness Instructor who has a passion for making fitness fun! This individual will join our team at Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics to deliver exceptional client services through our facilities’ programming. Classes take place daily in the mornings and evenings.

We are currently seeking individuals experienced in teaching HIT classes, and would be available in the evenings.

Essential Responsibilities

• Leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes, as directed by the director/coordinator, to accomplish LIVunLtd and our client's mission and goals.
• Maintains working knowledge of wellness and trends to provide effective information and support to members.
• Ensure safety of members through exercise technique and make appropriate modifications if necessary.
• Builds effective, authentic relationships with members.
• Keeps accurate class attendance records.
• Ensures facility, equipment and environment are appropriately prepared for each class.

Skills & Qualifications

• At least one (1) year experiencing teaching various types of group exercise classes
• At least one (1) year experiencing teaching HIIT
• Must maintain active CPR, AED certification and relevant fitness certifications from a Nationally Accredited Certification, such as AFAA, ACE, NASM, NSCA – CSCS, CPT or ACSM, etc.
• Energetic, positive and motivational teaching style
• Capable of incorporating a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
