Job summary

The YMCA of South Hampton Roads is seeking a Water Fitness Instructor to lead buoyant, low-impact aquatic workouts for all ages and fitness levels using our top-tier facilities and supportive team.

You will design and deliver engaging classes, model safety and technique, and help members improve fitness, balance, and confidence while fostering a welcoming community environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a current CPR, First Aid and O2 certification.
• Current national Group Exercise certification (YMCA, AFAA, ACE, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Cycle Reebok, etc).
• Instructor must pass group exercise interview and audition.

QUALIFICATIONS

Physical Demands

• Must be physically able to successfully complete required certifications.
