Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County (Ohio) is seeking part-time Group Exercise Instructors at the Lake Community YMCA to lead a variety of weekday morning classes such as Pilates, Senior Fitness, Step, and Parkinson's.

Starting pay ranges from $11.00 to $16.00 per hour. Candidates should be dynamic with strong interpersonal skills; CPR/AED certification is preferred and a national fitness credential is required or provided.

Qualifications

• Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• CPR and AED certification preferred, but will provide.
• Certification from nationally-recognized fitness accreditation agency.
• Able to teach multiple formats, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet the members with enthusiasm.
• Design class format appropriate for type of class and participants.
• Serve as a good role model.
• Communicate with team members.
• Address difficult situations by using the YMCA Character Values as a guide.
