Overview
Works under the supervision of the Group Exercise Manager to provide members with a diverse program of classes in a friendly, motivating, and professional manner. Classes are conducted in a safe environment, and the instructor maintains supervision of members throughout the class.

Location: Newport News, Virginia

Responsibilities
- Interact positively with members and use their names when appropriate.
- Teach safe and effective classes, staying on beat and phrase of the music, and show modifications as needed.
- Maintain current CPR and group exercise certifications.
- Attend bi-monthly staff meetings.
- Handle customer relation issues professionally and report to manager as needed.

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience: Physical education or fitness training (preferred), functional style training (preferred)
- Certifications: AFAA or FiTOUR certification, AED certification within 30 days
