Pay Range

This range is provided by YMCA of Greater Montgomery. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base Pay Range

$15.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Meeting and assessing new members for fitness needs and providing a safe and effective program to meet those needs.
• Leading group exercise classes with appropriate verbal instructions and clear patterns of movement.
• Providing instructions for participants on taking their heart rate and when to decrease the intensity of the workout for their safety.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Group Exercise Instructor certification
• Current CPR, First Aid, AED or within 30 days
• YMCA Safety Trainings
