We partner with healthcare and pharmaceutical brands to develop integrated media and omnichannel strategies designed around how people actually engage, make decisions, and take action.

The Group Director, Omnichannel & Media Strategy will lead and evolve omnichannel strategy across multiple clients, brands, therapeutic areas, and engagement programs. This role is responsible for driving integrated, measurable customer experiences that advance client business objectives while helping shape and grow Real Chemistry Media's omnichannel strategy capabilities.

As a senior strategic leader, you will bring a strong understanding of media strategy, audience planning, and the role paid media plays within the broader customer experience, combining that expertise with customer engagement strategy, behavioral science, data, analytics, and technology to create omnichannel solutions that influence behaviors and improve outcomes. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, a leader within the strategy discipline, and a key partner to Media, Analytics, Creative, Engagement, and Client Services teams.

What You'll Do
  • Lead omnichannel strategy development and delivery across multiple clients, brands, therapeutic areas, and engagement programs, ensuring consistent strategic excellence and measurable business impact.
  • Develop integrated media, audience, journey, engagement, and channel strategies that align with client objectives and drive behavior change across the customer experience.
  • Define the strategic role of paid media within the broader omnichannel ecosystem, connecting paid channels with CRM, owned, earned, field, content, and digital experiences.
  • Establish and evolve best practices for audience architecture, customer journey design, media and channel planning, orchestration, workshop facilitation, governance, and optimization.
  • Guide complex engagement ecosystems involving multiple customer types, media channels, markets, products, and business units.
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients, providing executive‑level counsel on media and omnichannel strategy, customer experience, activation, measurement, and growth.
  • Own strategic delivery, client retention, and growth across a portfolio of accounts, including some of the agency's largest and most complex engagements.
  • Partner with Media, Analytics, Engagement Strategy, Creative, and Client Services teams to deliver integrated solutions grounded in data, audience insights, media performance, and business objectives.
  • Lead client workshops, strategic planning sessions, and executive presentations that influence decision‑making and drive alignment.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage media, technology, AI, analytics, and customer insights to improve client outcomes and strengthen agency capabilities.
  • Lead, develop, and coach strategists across the organization, supporting performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Contribute directly to discipline growth through client expansion, business development, thought leadership, and the development of new strategic offerings and capabilities.
  • Maintain a strong billable contribution while supporting overall team utilization, revenue growth, and the continued evolution of Real Chemistry Media's omnichannel strategy practice.
This Position Is a Perfect Fit for You If
  • You are a strategic thinker who enjoys solving complex client and business challenges through audience insights, data, media, and collaboration.
  • You are adaptable, resilient, and energized by evolving client needs and business priorities.
  • You are proactive, resourceful, and comfortable leading through ambiguity.
  • You thrive in fast‑paced environments and enjoy balancing strategic leadership with execution.
  • You are passionate about mentoring others and building high‑performing teams.
  • You are motivated by driving measurable client impact and advancing the future of healthcare engagement.
What You Should Have
  • 12+ years of experience in media strategy and/or omnichannel strategy with significant media responsibility, within healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences.
  • Strong knowledge of paid media strategy and the role channels such as paid search, paid social, programmatic, video, and other digital media play within an integrated healthcare customer experience.
  • Demonstrated success developing omnichannel strategies across multiple accounts, brands, therapeutic categories, customer types, channels, and markets.
  • Deep expertise in audience architecture, customer journey design, media and channel strategy, orchestration planning, behavioral science, measurement, and data‑driven optimization.
  • Experience connecting paid media with CRM, field engagement, owned and earned channels, content, and digital experiences to create cohesive HCP and/or patient journeys.
  • Ability to interpret media performance, audience data, research, and customer insights and translate them into strategic recommendations for clients and cross‑functional teams.
  • Proven ability to lead large, complex client engagements independently, advise executive stakeholders, and translate business objectives and insights into scalable strategic solutions.
  • Experience establishing consistent methodologies, governance models, operating frameworks, and strategic standards across teams and accounts.
  • Track record of driving client retention, organic growth, and new business while balancing billability, team utilization, and commercial objectives.
