Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a 1st Shift Group Coordinator Lead. The role supports a warehouse team, with shift from 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Key duties include case-picking by hand up to 35 lbs, and operating material handling equipment such as Electric Pallet Jack and Reach Truck, with safety as a priority.

No experience is required; candidates must be willing to learn, work OT and weekends if needed, and perform other warehouse tasks as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 0 to 12 months experience in a warehouse setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manually load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner.
• Provide physical labor to move product to storage areas with proper material handling equipment.
• Assemble merchandise to be shipped; sort, recoup, pack, label materials; check for damage.

Pay: $19.45 per hour

No experience required. Willing to learn new equipment and willing to work OT and weekends if necessary. Must be willing to work other required warehouse work as needed for the business, not limited to handling cases of weight up to 25lbs. continuosly through an 8 hour shift.

Role Purpose

Responsible for supporting and leading specified group of individuals in the warehouse/clerical setting.

Provides daily direction and guidance to the work group.

Trains new associates in identified work group.

Key Accountabilities

• Manually load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner.
• Provide physical labor to move product to storage areas with proper material handling equipment and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area.
• Assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped. Sort, recoup, pack, mark, and label materials. Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation.
• Perform duties needed for assembling displays and other specialty value-added services per the customers’ requirements.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Performs general grounds/building maintenance.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 0 to 12 months experience in a warehouse setting, preferred
