Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Utah (South Jordan) is hiring for a First Shift Group Coordinator Lead. You will assign work schedules, train associates, and oversee daily workloads in a 24/7 warehouse environment.

The role requires experience with SAP Warehouse Management and forklift operations, plus ability to manage a rotating weekend schedule. Ideal candidates have 6–12 months of warehouse and forklift experience, a high school diploma, and a forklift certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months warehouse experience.
• 6–12 months forklift operation experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred.

The core responsibilities of this role include: Working at our warehouse on the Mine, this position works a rotating weekend schedule, every other Saturday and Holidays as required as this warehouse runs 24/7. This position is responsible for working in SAP Warehouse Management System to receive parts from the DC and Vendors, Kit parts for W.Os, process returns and man a parts window for Customer requests and inquiries on the mine.

Position: First (1st) Shift Group Coordinator Lead
Shift: 5:00am –; 5:00pm, Wednesday-Friday - Every Other Saturday
Pay: $22.00per hour
Additional Incentives: $1.00 Mining Premium + $2.00 Rotating Pay

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: Heavy Industry Forklift experience - Working with long, awkward and Heavy parts. Working in an industrial setting.

Role Purpose

Responsible for assigning work schedules, training associates and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing. Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to work group. Responsible for daily workloads.

Key Accountabilities

• Conduct training for new associates.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
• Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
• Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.

Required Education and Experience

• 6-12 months warehouse experience
• 6-12 months forklift operation experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
