Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Whiteland, IN is hiring a Group Coordinator Lead. The role involves leading a team across Put‑Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping, and Order Selecting, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage workflow and task allocation for a warehouse team (Put‑Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping, Pack‑out, Staging, Order Selecting, International orders).
• Serve as working lead and primary contact for associates on the shift.
• Train associates, monitor production, provide feedback, and support the supervisor to ensure quality customer service.
• Ensure safe operation of material handling equipment and enforce safety procedures.

The core responsibilities of this role include:

-Lead and manage the workflow and work duty allocation for team members within an assigned department of the facility to include: Put-Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping / Pack-out, Staging, Order Selecting areas, International orders.

-This is a working-lead role. You will work alongside your team while being the initial point of contact for associates.

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

-A minimum of 3+ years in a progressive role within a supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution environment as a Team Lead, Workflow Planner or other role that requires making decisions and leading other associates in their daily tasks.

-The role reports directly to the Supervisor and will be responsible for training associates, monitoring production, giving constructive feedback to the associates, providing training to new associates, and assisting the Supervisor to ensure highest customer standards.

-A minimum of 6 month’s experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required. This position requires safe and efficient operation of a stand-up Order Picker and Reach Truck, Order (Cherry) Picker. and first preference will be given to applicants with this experience.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for assigning work schedules, training associates and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing. Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to work group. Responsible for daily workloads.

Key Accountabilities:

• Conduct training for new associates.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
• Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
• Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.

Required Education and Experience:

• 6-12 months warehouse experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
