Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking Group Exercise Instructors to lead engaging classes at client sites across Rhode Island, including Cranston, Narragansett, East Providence, Providence, Lincoln and Warwick.

You will deliver safe, fun workouts such as dance, kickboxing and boot camp, maintain certifications, and support a welcoming community while working flexible part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Responsibilities

• Provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members (dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, circuit).
• Lead classes at client sites across Rhode Island, including Cranston and surrounding areas.

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

The compensation range for this role is $30.00/hr - $55.00/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
