Job summary

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a qualified Group Aerobics Instructor to deliver professional fitness and wellness classes at the Patrick Space Force Base Fitness Center.

You may teach Yoga, HIIT, Power Cycle, Cardio Pop Dance, Pilates, Total Body Pump, Body Conditioning or similar disciplines, based on certification and experience; certifications must be current and on file.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized fitness certification appropriate to the class being taught.
• CPR and AED certification current through recognized organizations.
• First Aid certification current through recognized organizations.
• Ability to provide copies of required certifications before beginning work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safe and professional group fitness classes.
• Arrive at least 10 minutes before each scheduled class.
• Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and modifications as needed.
• Monitor participants for proper technique and safety.
• Maintain attendance and sign-in documentation.
• Follow Emergency Action Plan and report injuries.
• Maintain professional appearance and appropriate music selection.
• Promptly communicate delays or inability to conduct a class.

Position Overview

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a qualified and certified Group Aerobics Instructor to provide professional fitness and wellness classes at the Patrick Space Force Base Fitness Center.

The instructor may teach Yoga, HIIT, Power Cycle, Cardio Pop Dance, Pilates, Total Body Pump, Body Conditioning, or an equivalent fitness discipline, depending on certification and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safe and professional group fitness classes;
• Arrive at least 10 minutes before each scheduled class;
• Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and appropriate exercise modifications;
• Monitor participants for proper technique and safety;
• Maintain required attendance and sign-in documentation;
• Follow the Fitness Center's Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and report participant injuries;
• Maintain a professional appearance and appropriate music selection; and
• Promptly communicate any delay or inability to conduct an assigned class.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized fitness certification appropriate to the class being taught;
• Current CPR and AED certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association;
• Current First Aid certification;
• Ability to provide copies of required certifications before beginning work;
• Ability to obtain required access to Patrick Space Force Base;
• Strong communication, professionalism, reliability, and group-instruction skills; and
• Previous group fitness instruction experience and certification in more than one fitness discipline are preferred.
